Countryside Flowers is situated on the edge of Constable Country on the Essex/ Suffolk border, we grow our flowers on an acre of our wonderful land previously used by my family for 50 years as a market garden growing vegetables & salad crops. The switch over to just growing flowers came in 2019 when I realised there was a market for more seasonal British grown flowers.

Having trained as a florist over 30 years ago I knew we could not only grow beautiful, organically grown blooms but also arrange them for all occasions as well. Day to day the farm is run by me Caroline, I have always had a love for the land right from an early age growing up in this special place & feel very lucky to be able to carry on living & working here.

Countryside Flowers has become a family affair with help from my husband who is my odd job man, my mum who helps in the garden & my children who help with design & computer work.

Our season runs from April to November, every year we are adding more varieties to the garden, giving us lots more choice of wonderful flowers.

In 2022 we joined Flowers From The Farm, it’s a great way for people to find out where their local flower farmer is and buy British flowers in season direct from the grower. This also helps me when my flowers are finished in the winter months where we can still offer flowers sourced from other British growers.

We are now also members of The Farewell Flowers Directory which is the perfect place to find naturally grown, plastic and foam free arrangements for your loved ones in your local area.
